Dr. Edith Eger + Ze'ev Orenstein

Night Of Inspiration

To Join This Amazing Event

We are so excited to announce an amazing virtual event that will take place on July 30th, the 9th of the Hebrew month of Av!

You will want to save this date.

Chabad of Loudoun County brings to you Dr. Edith Eger, 'The Ballerina of Auschwitz' to share her story with the Loudoun County community. Dr. Eger was 16 years old when she was deported to Auschwitz. She endured unimaginable suffering, including being forced to dance in front of the infamous "Mengele".

Dr. Eger is an acclaimed psychologist and expert in trauma recovery. She is an inspiring speaker, human dignity advocate and best selling author. Her book, The Choice is a powerful and moving memoir rated the 5 best reads for this summer by Bill Gates.

Also, joining us exclusively from Israel will be Ze'ev Orenstien - Director of international affairs at the City of David. Ze'ev will explain to us the history and significance of the 9th of the Hebrew month of Av, which is when both Jewish Temples were destroyed. Ze'ev will also share with us first hand accounts of the most fascinating archeological finds in our generation. Bridging the gap of 3000 years!

This event will be moderated by Mrs. Julie Strauss-Levin, a prominent attorney with extensive experience in both the for-profit and non-profit spaces.
